9th August 2010

• Soccer for U4 to U10s resumes .. we are into the last stretch. Soccer will end Thursday September 2nd, with a fun day 2nd weekend of September.

Week of Monday 2nd August until Friday 6th August
(Updated Wednesday 28th July)

• Schomberg Soccer Club does not have soccer for U4 to U10 teams.
• No practices or games.
  
• U12s will continue to play as per the schedule.

6th July 2010

Due to the heat:

• U4 soccer has been cancelled for tonight at Osin Lions, 6:30pm.
• U6 soccer has been cancelled for tomorrow night (7th July 2010)
• U8, U10 and U12 soccer will continue as normal but is optional.

Remember - Start hydrating now!!! Bring water!!!

1st July 2010

• Happy Canada Day - No Soccer (U8G schedule has been updated to reflect this)

19th June 2010:

• Schomberg KNSC U12 schedules have been posted. Click schedules on the left.

16th June 2010:

• The photoday schedule for June 21st at the Schomberg Hockey Arena has been posted. [full schedule]. The Schomberg Community & Agricultural Arena, Western Avenue, Schomberg, Ontario.

15th June 2010:

• Schedules for U12s have not been finalized. We are still finalizing some paperwork with KNSC.
• Schedules for U8s and U10s have been posted. Click schedules on the left for more information.
• Bad weather ... For u4 to U10s, we will NOT cancel games or practices earlier than 5:30 for thunder and lightening. We will contact the coach, who will contact you - please do not call the executive if you are a parent. Soccer games will be played in the rain (what fun!). Soccer games will be abandoned immediately if Thunder or Lightening is observed.

The season has KICKED OFF!!!!!!

• U4 will play Tuesday nights, from 6:30 to 7:30 starting Tuesday June 1st
• U6 will play Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 7:30 starting Wednesday June 2nd.
• U8 & U10 teams will play Tuesday & Thursday nights, starting Thursday May 27th
• U12 teams will play Monday & Wednesday, starting Wednesday May 26th.
• U14, U16 and U18 are already on the field.

If you have not heard from your coach, by the dates above please contact us electronically.

U8 Boys, will also play once or twice on a Monday evening to play games in King City. When this happens, there will not be a Tuesday practice. We have an unbalanced number of teams, and feel that two games a week is better than having a bye.

Locations are still being finalized, but we are planning for the following:

• U4 & U6 -Osin-Lions Extension
• U8, U10G - Pottageville Park
• U10B - Schomberg Public School
• U12 Girls - Kettleby School
• U12 Boys - Practice Kettleby School, Home Field CDS in King City.

Picture Day

Picture day is scheduled for June 21st at the Schomberg Ice Hockey Arena on Western Avenue. Times will be available soon but will range from 6pm to 9pm.

Water Safety

Please keep any eye on all of your children at all soccer fields, but especially Osin-Lions and Pottageville. Both of these parks have creeks that can run at times quite deep, and although are great fun to play in are very dangerous.

Osin-Lions has 1 drainage ditch, and 1 fast flowing creek at the far North end. Please don't let your children near them without your supervision.

Pottageville has a slower creek between the 2 fields, which has a bridge crossing over.
