Referees must have attended and completed at least a level-4 referee course. The C4 course is good for 2 soccer seasons, and each year a referee must register at www.soccer.on.ca
For Schomberg Inhouse Recreational games, referees will be paid twice a month (15th and 30th) for games that they refereed during this time period. For YRSL and SCYSL games, referees will be paid as per the leagues constitution.
To get paid for a U10, U8 and U6 games, the referee must take the office copy of the game sheet to Jay's Variety. The form will be picked up by an executive member, and a cheque will then be cut and mailed on the appropriate day. If the referee does not take the form to Jay's Variety, then delays could occur with payments.
For Youth games ( U12 and up ), referees will be paid prior to the game.
